I just downloaded a program called "WinQVT" which is a communication
software for Microsoft Windows. However, after spending a few hours
on it, I still could not figure out why the program does not want to
dial out. The option DIAL does not appear, and what I have is only 
the option HANGUP. 

I have an external modem : Everex 24E - 2400 bps. It runs perfectly with
other software like procomm or bitcom. Is there anything else that I
missed. Any advice would be appreciated.
