I had a bunch of disks from the owner to format, which I did, and got 1.44 MB disks. I now find that they are in fact only 720 K, and they had no problems getting formatted. Years ago, I used to format 5.25" SSDD as DSDD (180K as 360K) without any difficulty. If you are interested, I've been using Sonly and 3M disks.
