I have a Toshiba 3-1/2" drive. Since my old Info 286 BIOS couldn't run it at 1.44MB, I had to get special drivers - they work just fine. Anyway, before I got the drivers, I just told the CMOS that it was a 1.2MB drive. It formatted DS/DD media at 1.2MB with no problems. Since this is "non-standard", I only use it for backups. It works great, on cheap media! Any comments? Flames? -Dave :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: EMAIL: ...!att!holin!doc | "I can't complain but | /^, VOICE: (201)-949-5308 | sometimes I still do"| / } _, , , __ #include | - Joe Walsh | /_./ (_l |/ <~_ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
