Still sounds as if you have hardware problems. I use Telix on comm3 int2 (I cut the interupt line and move it on one of those el'cheapo rs232 cards) and a external modem on com2(int3), and a mouse on com1(int 4). Telix switches back and forth between the ports just fine. I'm running at 9600 into a Xenix machine direct on comm3. 19.2k shows to much jerky sceen updates.
