I, too, got my copy of PCT Deluxe, Version 5, and I agree that it was well worth the wait. Only one bug that's bitten so far, and that involves my Microsoft mouse driven with version 5.00 of the mouse driver (which came with QuickBasic 4.0, as I recall. The mouse plain doesn't work in PC-Shell. Doesn't matter whether I go in through PC-Desktop, or straight from the DOS prompt, it doesn't work. Docs say "update your mouse driver". But the mouse works *great* with PC-Desktop and all of the standalone programs!! Hmmm.... Aside from this (there are many ways to move and select in PCTDV5 that don't require a mouse), this package is the best deal I have ever seen in my short micro-oriented life! How do these folks do it???
