Chicago Computer Science Dept. Lines: 18 I need advice on softare that can do mathematical word processing and / or typesetting. It would help a lot if it's reasonably friendly, which mostly rules out TeX. Also, if it's something that can drive typesetting equipment that's a major plus. I'm familiar with Word 3.0 on the Macintosh--that's the kind of capability I need--but our machines are IBM AT compatibles. If such software exists, what hardware does it need? I would be grateful for Email, since I can't keep up with the traffic on this net and need to make a decision soon. Thanks for your wisdom. --Tom McDougal mcdougal@gargoyle.uchicago.edu ...ihnp4!gargoyle!mcdougal
