It happens to me too (Mac II, 2 Mbytes memory). I'm usually switching
between Word and Canvas and/or VersaTerm.  Yesterday, the little icon in the
menubar even disappeared (but that was a special case where I was trying to
print a PageMaker page and hadn't switched back to Finder).
