I want to generate a postscript file, so I hit command-F when I begin to print. For some reason, I get the message "A Screen (bitmap) version of the font "Symbol" is being created, because the laserwriter doesn't have this font" Where on earth did my Mac get this crazy idea? I told it I had a laserwriter connected to Appletalk. Is there some way I can convince it that this laserwriter has the symbol font? I am getting some really crummy-looking symbol characters because of this behavior! Don Gillies, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Illinois 1304 W.
