Question on StairCase Keywords: StairCase 1.0.3 Message-ID: <12088@dartvax.Dartmouth.EDU> Date: 4 Feb 89 14:20:49 GMT Sender: news@dartvax.Dartmouth.EDU Reply-To: xxiaoye@eleazar.dartmouth.edu (Xiaoxia Ye) Organization: Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH Lines: 21 I recently posted a request for StairCase 1.0.3. I received a prompt reply. The sender also wrote in the message that he is going to mail Staircase 1.0.3 to sumex-aim archives ( sumex only has version 1.0.2 right now which has compatibility problems with some softwares according to the March Macazine issue). I downloaded StairCase and it worked well. I love it! It even works with the Tools palette in HyperCard!!! Ok, here is my stupid question: When you activate StairCase, it puts a number beside each menu selection so one can use the number to select the menu item. HOW DO YOU SELECT THE ONES THAT IS TEN OR LARGER??? OPTION #, CONTROL #... TAB # (non of them worked for me) ?? Another question: can you scroll down the list of menu items if the menu is longer than the screen size (especially the Apple Menu) ?? Any help would be appreciated!!!! ________________________________________________________________________ Xiaoxia Ye INTERNET/BITNET/UUCP: xxiaoye@eleazar.dartmouth.edu Dartmouth College For more info: finger xxiaoye@eleazar.dartmouth.edu
