(I do not have the manual, so I can't look these up on my own.) 1. How do you run LaTeX from MacTeX? I have the LaTeX fmt file, but no VIRTEX. 2. How can MacTeX files be ported to other machines? I see no "text only" save options; are MacTeX documents really text files, or do is there some other process for generating text files? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
