I have two serial devices hooked to my Mac 512Ke: a modem, and another RS-232-cabled interface. The second peripheral is hooked to the printer port. Upon each power-up of my machine, when I run Red Ryder 9.4, I can't access the printer port. I have no problems with the modem port; and the only way I've found to get the printer port to work is to use another term. program (like the MacTerminal DA) to access the port. Once it's initialized, Red works fine. If anyone has any suggestions, could you please e-mail me? (I don't read this group on a regular basis).
