They're part of the zmodem package, distributed in comp.sources.unix back in early '88. They can be accessed via anonymous FTP from the uunet.uu.net machine. The directory in which to look is ~ftp/comp.sources.unix/volume12/zmodem. The files in that directory are compressed, so be sure to set your FTP for a binary-mode transfer. The zmodem program-set supports XMODEM, YMODEM-Batch, and ZMODEM.
