Another thing to try is to reverse the physical order of the drives on the bus. If one is terminated and one isn't, this may get the terminated one to the correct position. If you are sure termination is correct and it still doesn't work, try calling Dove. Their tech support number is toll free, so what have you got to lose? It's doubtful that anyone from Dove will comment on the net about this, since they are not on the net.
