Mr.  Chandross,

        Everyone has a Murphy's Law Corollary.  My favorite
rendition of Murphy's Law was rendered in "Looking Out For #1" by
Robert J. Ringer:

        Nothing is as easy as it looks.

        Everything takes longer than you expect.

        And if anything can go wrong - it will

        At the worst possible moment!

        Robert A. Heinlein had many corollaries in his novels of
Lazarus Long.  I wonder if anyone ever compiled a lot of these
into one book?
