Often, you can remove the key cap and insert a thin strip of stiff paper (clipping a 1/8 inch wide strip from a match pack cover usually works) between the contacts, press down on the key to squeeze the contacts around the strip and draw the paper out to remove the dirt. Of course this is better performed by licensed field service technicians. -moss
