At Surrey Univ. we don't (as yet) have transcript so our solution was to make a new filter program to handle straight postscript files. Since installing it on a 3/280S (Oct 88), we have had no trouble and the printer is used fairly heavily. Text files (listings) can be translated into postscript before sending to the spooler but this could be included into the filter program. Anybody interested?
