I have fig 1.4 from the SUG'88 exchange tape. Is there a a way to get Sun rasterfile format files from fig? I want to use screenload. My ultimate goal is to print them on an HP laserjet. Is there a way to convert fig files to HP laserjet files? Thanks in advance. ------------------ Paul Newman, Digital Communications Associates, Alpharetta Ga. uucp: ..!gatech!dcatla!dnpdn [[ How about choosing "Save as BITMAP" from the "commands" menu? There are two programs in the Sun-Spots archives that may interest you. One is "hp-filters.shar", which contains printcap-style filters for the laserjet (including one that converts rasterfile format). The other is "prraster.shar", which is a (different) program that converts a rasterfile to something printable on an HP printer. Both files are in the "sun-source" section of the archives and can be retrieved via anonymous FTP from the host "titan.rice.edu" or via the archive server. For more information about the archive server, send a mail message containing the word "help" to the address "archive-server@rice.edu". --wnl ]]
