                      Transputer Applications

There  is much  interest  in using  the  Transputer  in a number  of different
application  areas.  Professional  Group C2 (Hardware and systems engineering)
is organising a Colloquium on ``Transputer  engineering''  to be held at Savoy
Place in late 1989.  Contributions  are invited for this Colloquium which deal
with any aspect of Transputer systems, especially:
        * design of special purpose Transputer systems
        * program development aspects
        * embedded Transputer applications
Prospective  authors  are invited to submit an abstract  of approximately  200
words, outlining the material they propose to present,  before Friday 17 March
1989 to
