FTPSERVER can be made to support multiple simultaneous connections between
1186's using the LISPUSERS Module FTPSERVER-MULTI-CONNECTIONS of mine.
it patches the FTPSERVER and DPUPFTP code to allow multiple connections 
between 11xx's that have installed the code and had their host number installed
in a global table (on each machine).  The module is in the Lyric and Medley
lispusers distributions from envos.
