|I am looking for a way to get "real" TeX on a Sun 4 runing OS/4.x The
|problem we have is that we don't have a Pascal compiler on our Sun 4 nor
|are we planning to purchase one -- we just don't have a need for it

The current Unix TeX distribution has web2c and does not require Pascal.
