The first problem I had waswhenever a routine called strid2() was called, it would dump core. I checked with sdb and whenever I tried to single step into strid2, I would get a memory fault. To make a long story short, I bypassed this routines by hard coding some values. Now whenever I call one of the string functions in the C library, it dumps core. Does anyone have patches to get this routine to work under XENIX, or am I just boing stupid? Thanks for you help. Incidentally, I can keep the strid2 routine from dumping core by including it in dvifile.h which is the only routine that calls strid2. -- Terry Hull Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Kansas State University INTERNET: terry@eecea.eece.ksu.edu Manhattan, KS 66502 UUCP: rutgers!ksuvax1!eecea!terry
