Hi,

I'm trying to get X11R3 (through patch 7) to run on a sun 386i/150
running Sun OS 4.0.1
(compiled w/ sun cc, not gnu cc)

On starting the Xsun server, I get
Mapping BW2: No such device or Address

I do have a bw2 device, resolution 1024 x 768. According
to the sun doc, the failure of the mmap call is due to
MAP_REMAP option being passed to mmap and the device not
supporting it, however this option is not used.

Has anyone gotten X11 to run on a 386i?  

Any suggestions?
