I was thinking either of the Towers-of-Hanoi, or the Eight-Queens problem. I thought that I'd like to start out from a pre-written version in some other language. You see, I just want a piece of demo code for our parallel C++ environment and I expect that I will be recoding the program to make it parallel, but I'm not really into re-inventing the basic algorithims or data structures. So does anybody out there want to help me by sending me an Eight-Queens or Towers-of-Hanoi, or some other similar searching program (any source language will do). If you can help me you will be rewarded by getting back a C++ version of the program you send me. Thanks for your support. // Ron Guilmette - MCC - Experimental (parallel) Systems Kit Project // 3500 West Balcones Center Drive, Austin, TX 78759 - (512)338-3740 // ARPA: rfg@mcc.com // UUCP: {rutgers,uunet,gatech,ames,pyramid}!cs.utexas.edu!pp!rfg
