The most recent ACM had a column on Copyright, page 169, and it
says the following:
	Until March 1, 1989, all one needs to do is place a
	copyright notice on any publicly distributed copies
	of the work.
	...
	After March 1, notice will no longer be required but
	is advised.
Anybody know what the scoop is?
