I am doing a paper on the technical history of USENET.  I am especially
interested in the routing algorithms that have been used, and why they were
changed.  In addition, I would like some inforamation on the communication
techniques used by UUCP.

Thanks very much for any help that you might provide (references are muchly
appreciated).
