I am administering a machine that has both Internet and UUCP
connections. The hostname of the machine is the full
domainicised (?) name, but I keep getting failures from
uux with return status of -1. I think this is because
of the length of my hostname. However, if I shorten
my hostname to not include the full domain, then incomming
mail via SMTP fails with "hostname configuration error".

Help!
