It's so peaceful here in ont.singles.   I subscribed to soc.singles
for a very short time, but got tired of all the noise, and especially
those obnoxious postings by men who seemed to want to justify
date rape.  Thanks, ont.singles, for refraining from posting
(and, I hope, from thinking) such misogynistic crap.

Now I have a question for you.  I'm new to Toronto.  Can anyone
recommend their favourite place
	i)   to hear live blues
	ii)  to dance
	iii) for a romantic dinner out
	iv)  for an inexpensive meal

To all those who don't live in Toronto, forgive me for being 
Torontocentric.  If you have a favourite that is not in Toronto,
post away, anyway! 

And another thing... it would be nice to hear from any other women
who subscribe to this newsgroup, even if it's only to say hi.
I feel kinda isolated... only one other woman has posted since I
subscribed.
