My clothes dryer has the most AWFUL end-of-cycle buzzer.  The darn thing makes
my cats fuzz up!  I would like to replace the buzzer with some sort of chime,
preferably with a variable volume control.

I can build it, but I don't know enough about electronics to invent it.  Does
anyone out there have a schematic that would work?  Or would one of you be
willing to invent one?  Any help/advice you can provide would be appreciated.
