Looks very easy to interface. Although you asked about RS-232 interfacing, I think it would be easy to interface it to a PC's parallel port. Phil Karn posted some time back on rec.ham-radio about how to modify a parallel IO card for 8-bit input. I'm not sure a stock card would have enough input lines ....
