I have a friend (without usenet access) who is interested in purchasing a
residential phone with these features:
-Cordless handset
-Intercom between base and handset
-page feature between base and handset
-answering machine with outgoing msg stored in a chip
-speakerphone 
-redial last #
-autodial upto about 20 #'s (ideally from handset)
-beeperless remote access to answering machine

I am unfamiliar with the current technology so I can't help him.

Anyone out there know of a machine (and the cost) that meets his
needs?
