Message-ID: <89Jan31.001643est.2383@godzilla.eecg.toronto.edu> Organization: EECG, University of Toronto Distribution: na Date: Tue, 31 Jan 89 00:16:42 EST Can anyone recommend a good speech synthesis chip that costs under $30 (or so) and accepts pure text input? I've used the (ancient) Votrax SC-01 in two of my projects but it lacks intelligible output and requires the text input to be broken down into phonemes (sp?). The same goes for the SPO-256. -- ____ ____ ____ ____ |____| |____| | | | CSNET: lansd%eecg.toronto.edu |____ |____ |____ |____| ARPA: lansd%eecg.toronto.edu@relay.cs.net | Electrical Engineering Computer Group, ____| University of Toronto.
