Buy a discontinued laptop and throw away everything but the screen?
(I'm not entirely kidding:  those things are not easy to find in quantity
one at reasonable prices when there is no prospect of a bulk follow-on
order.)

You are probably better off looking for an LCD "module" that includes
driver electronics.  The big LCDs are tricky to drive.
