At Eli Heffron & Sons (near Somerville, MA), I saw a mooseload of
LCD displays that Epson was going to put in a cancelled 'Commuter
Computer' product.  It looked to be at least 40x12, and maybe even 80x24.
If I would have know how to drive them (no docs available) I would have 
bought a few.

Good luck, and if anyone else knows more about how to drive these
'Commuter Computer' LCD's, please post to the net.
