I was recently quoted 160 dollars for a new set of heads. I don't remember if this included installation or not. (The problem turned out to be a mis- adjusted pinch roller.) Video heads are very easy to clean with the special cleaner and foam swabs available at most hi-fi/video stores, including Radio Shack. You should avoid the sand-paper type cleaners at all costs.
