Well, has anyone else been trying to get this beast up on the unix pc?

I've had minimal success, but the real problem seems to be getting
ld+ to compile (and maybe even run correctly).  Has this been ported yet?
If not, I'll be willing to give it a shot. Send e-mail and I'll summarize
to this forum later.
