Data Management for Culture Collections Course 1989

The United Kingdom Federation of Culture Collections (UKFCC) in association
with the National Collection of Yeast Cultures (NCYC) will run a three day
course on data management for culture collections from July 4th - 6th 1989.

The topics covered will include creation of in-house strain databases,
stock and customer records, use of international microbial online databases
,electronic mail and catalogue production using desktop publishing systems.
The course will include substantial hands-on experience.

The course fee is 295 pounds + VAT including meals and two nights hotel
accomodation. The course will be held at the AFRC Institute of Food
Research,Colney Lane, Norwich ,NR4 7UA, Norfolk, UK. For further details and
