Lauderdale Lines: 28 Approved: bill@twwells.uucp (T. William Wells) One of the things causing last month's hiatus in comp.archives was my intention to read and respond to each posting that came in. Since this requires time that I don't have, I've decided to change that. What this means is that I will post an article coming to comp.archives with only a cursory examination. You should see two differences: 1) An increase in responsiveness. 2) A decrease in my editing messages. I will normally respond, if at all, in a followup message. Also, here's another change: I've noticed that people are posting archive listings and the like on other newsgroups. Given my slowness that is completely understandable. Also, I had been adopting a policy of not posting info about an archive till I had contacted the archivist to verify the info. I've changed that latter, and will now only verify the data going into the comp.archives database. I encourage anyone with archive information, either about their own archive or about any other, to post whatever they have. --- Bill { uunet | novavax } !twwells!bill send comp.archives postings to twwells!comp-archives send comp.archives related mail to twwells!comp-archives-request
