We're trying to run an Annex II terminal server from an HP 850 running
HP-UX 2.1  (based on Sys V with 4.2/3 BSD extensions).  So far, no go.

The following is a transcript of the diagnostic output of erpcd when run
in debug mode:

erpcd: message received                <== Annex contacts HP 1st time
erpcd: forked
bfs: ch_id[0]=0  ch_id[1]=0
bfs: sending open return message       <== erpcd on HP forks bfs!
erpc_return: iovlen=0                  <== but, Annex doesn't see reply
erpc_return: rh_id[0]=0  rh_id[1]=0
erpcd: message received                <== Annex tries again
erpcd: forked
bfs: ch_id[0]=0  ch_id[1]=1
bfs: sending open return message
erpc_return: iovlen=0
erpc_return: rh_id[0]=0  rh_id[1]=1

I've omitted further output of the transcript which simply repeats the
above.  Eventually the annex gives up and halts.

Anybody seen and solved anything like this with other Unix boxes?
