Lines: 12 Fellow Netters. I am trying to find out about implementing tcp/ip over 802.3. Now I understand that there is an rfc 1042 which talks about it and the llc problems so I am trying to get that over the net but In the meantime i am having some trouble exactly understanding the purpose of 802.2. 802.2 seems to support flow control and some sort of subnetting could any of you folks give me a reason for why it exists? thanks a lot Pat P.S.
