Combined with their AccessPlus (on the PC) and PMX (on 3Bs) software, gateways are provided (I hear) for both "normal" UNIX mail and the ATTMAIL "cloud". I have not spoken to anyone who has it running on a 3Com LAN, but it might provide the solution you are looking for.
