Unfortunately, for some reason when it's trying to insert the new text, it garbles it, and throws me into an incremental search. I suspect this is something to so with C-s and C-q being used for flow control. I've observed this behaviour on adm3e-br's and tvi's connected to Sun 3s and Sun 4s.
