Message-ID: <493@ircam.UUCP> Date: 18 Feb 89 20:23:43 GMT Reply-To: uunet!ircam!mf Organization: Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique-Musique Lines: 16 In order to make a LaserWriter invisible to the Macintosh drivers, I need to change its NBP type to anything else than LaserWriter. The "setprintername" description in Red Book mentions in a footnote that the special characters `:' and `@' are used to create full NBP names. Does this mean that: (i) saying (MyPrinter:OddType) setprintername would set both the name and the type? (ii) would that command leave the zone field unchanged? Thanks for any help, Michael
