ELM developers wherever they are must bear in mind the needs of users
with existing mailboxes containing encrypted mail, and the continuing
need to be able to read same with new versions of ELM.

We also need a means of printing encrypted mail, or of saving to a
file, in the clear. There is presently no method of putting it anywhere
unencoded except to the screen, so we have to pipe the output of elm &
edit out control characters. Very messy indeed.
