(Repost) Message-ID: <2517@sun.soe.clarkson.edu> Date: 22 Feb 89 17:47:25 GMT Sender: news@sun.soe.clarkson.edu Reply-To: carvinme@sun.soe!clutx.clarkson.edu.UUCP Lines: 27 This is a repost of something I tried to post a couple of weeks ago, but for some reason it didn't work... I've been have problems sending mail outside my node (clutx.clarkson.edu). Whenever I send mail to a address containing %'s !'s .'s and @'s it gets returned to me with either 'Unknown host' or 'Unknown user' This is especially annoying since I have a friend at DEC whom I'd like to send mail to (ie. %ravine.zk3.dec.com@decvax.dec.com ) I've tried different variations of this, including using decwrl instead of decvax. Am I doing something wrong?? ********************************************** * Mike Carvin * * (carvinme@clutx.clarkson.edu) * *--------------------------------------------* * "What's the point of being grown-up * * if you can't be childish sometimes?" * * -- Dr. Who * **********************************************
