FUTURE WORKSHOPS

In 1986, the USENIX Association sponsored one workshop (Graphics III).
In 1987, the Association sponsored four workshops:  Large 
Systems Administration, C++, Graphics IV, and POSIX).  This 
past year saw the Association's first cooperative workshop (with IEEE;
in Real-Time Systems), C++ grow to a "mini-Conference," and 
workshops on Security, Supercomputing, and Large Systems 
Administration II.

This year (1989), the Association will sponsor workshops as 
follows:

Software Management	New Orleans	April 3-4
Transaction Processing  Pittsburgh	May 1-2
Large Systems III	Austin, TX	Sept. 7-8
Distributed Systems	Ft. Lauderdale	Oct. 5-6
Graphics V		Monterey	Nov. 16-17

The Association is interested in introducing new topics in 
1990 and I have been asked to solicit suggestions/proposals.
I will take these to the Board for discussion.
