It runs on 117 VAC, has Scrub and Water Pre-heat modes, and automatic overflow protection. The only way I can get data in and out of it is through the front hatch, which has a wide, but generally steamy, bandwidth. I can't find the RS-232 connector, though, and the Whirlpool 800- tech-help phone person is getting very annoyed with my admittedly naive questions.
