This is a commercial product I'm talking about, so hit 'n' if that
bothers you...

Double Click Software has announced a cartridge for the ST which adds
2 interrupt-driven serial ports. It costs $200 and comes with an XBIOS
driver for TOS. I haven't seen anything about this except advertising
hype, but I suspect that one could fairly easily write a serial driver
for Minix without much more trouble than writing a serial driver in the
first place. 

One of the double click people reads the mail at uace0@uhnix2.uh.edu.
I have no connection with Double Click except that I once looked at
one of their public domain programs and decided it had an ugly
user interface :-)
