I was making *sarcasm*!  I'm sorry I forgot the '8-)' (I really did forget)!
I *know* that Multics, at least, had shared libraries decades ago!  I was
making a nice, semi-humourous counterpoint to the sun one, ok?

Sheesh.  Some people obviously can't tell sarcasm just from the speed I type
these things in 8-).
