Ethernet card (model NI5210) in a Zenith 159 PC (640k, 2 floppies, 20mb Seagate hard disk, Paradise autoswitch EGA video card). The software I am using is NCSA Telnet for the PC (version 2.2). Micom's diagnostic program (NI5210DG.EXE) runs successfully after the board is installed. The problem occurs when I try running the Telnet software. The Telnet software locks up the computer after the message "NCSA Telnet, reading configuration file..." is displayed on the screen. I have tried changing the configuration file without success. The parameters within the configuration file seem appropriate for our installation. Has anyone else experienced difficulty installing the above hardware/software configuration on their network? Any help regarding this problem would be greatly appreciated. -- Dave Holter, System Manager [amdahl!bungia!bthpyd!holter] Bethel College, St. Paul MN
