I would like to know if there exists any public domain software tool (better on unix) for measuring metrics of programs (McCabe's complexity, Halstead's operator/operand counts, vocabulary and times). All programming languages are welcomed. Also, what is the state of the art in software metrics? Some references to articles in the journals would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
